GOD NEVER CHANGED

God never changed, you did.
Remember when you said you would love him alone?
Remember when you said he was your only God?
Remember every time you said you would be better?
Do you know how long he waited for you to get closer?

God never changed, you did.
He said he would cherish you above all.
He said he would protect you.
He said he would provide for you.
He said you would teach you,counsel you and to trust him.

God never changed, you did.
He never said it was easy, he said he would make it.
He never said you would be superman, he said he would be your strength.
He never said the road was easy, but he did hint he would lead you.

But you got overwhelmed.
You got abused.
You got dubed.
You got used.
Now you're confused.
Where was that God who said he would never change?
He remained exactly where he knew you would come find him, waiting for you, right beside you, while doing for you what you didn't know he was.

God never changed!
